WALK the length of the Long Gallery of the third floor of this magnificent ham stone house and be wowed by more than 50 remarkable Tudor and Jacobean artworks on loan from the National Portrait Gallery.

From the gallery of this Elizabethan mansion there are stunning views across the gardens and the parkland beyond.

Sir Edward Phelips, was the visionary force and money behind the creation of this masterpiece, which was completed in 1601.

It was used as one of the filming locations for the BBC's Wolf Hall, starring Oscar winner Mark Rylance as Thomas Cromwell.
