*GET Out Loud in Weymouth town centre this weekend.

Five stage areas will be set up in the resort's main shopping streets and 27 acts will entertain the crowds.

The music kicks off tomorrow (Sat) from 10.30am with the last act taking to the stage at 4.15pm.

On Sunday the sounds begin at 10.30am with the final act of the day, Ed Hintze, performing at 4pm.

Among the performers are Weymouth Concert Brass, Let's Dance, Remedy and the Dorset Wrecks.

The event comes courtesy of the Weymouth BID and Weymouth and Portland Lions Club.

*PUT in a bid and help raise money for the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust tomorrow.

A charity auction is being held at Brownsword Hall, Poundbury, from 7.30pm.

There is a £5 entrance fee including a glass of wine on arrival.

The auction is being conducted by Tim Medhurst of Duke's Auctioneers.

*CATCH some Noel Coward at the Nothe Fort tomorrow evening.

Comedy masterpiece Hayfever will be performed outdoors from 6pm. See nothefort.org.uk for ticket details.

*A SPECIAL performance from the Bristol Old Vic comes to Frampton Village Hall tomorrow (Sat) at 7.30pm.

Presented by Artsreach, A Midsummer Night's Dream tells the story of four lovers who wander into the midst of a dispute between the king and queen of the fairies.

*SUNNINGHILL Prep School is inviting everyone to its PTFA Summer Fayre in South Walks Road, Dorchester, tomorrow from 12pm until 4.30pm.

There will be stalls, a barbecue, musical events, fun sporting competitions, a bake and make competition, strawberries and cream, a Pimms stall, afternoon tea and lots more. Entrance is free.

*FOUR piece band Sylva will perform in the Borough Gardens, Dorchester, on Sunday from 2.30pm.

The band will be performing all manner of covers ranging from Louis Armstrong to Lady Gaga.

*STRATTON Fayre will be opened by Dorchester Town Crier Alistair Chisholm on Sunday at 2pm.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Durnovaria Silver Band and the Dorset Wrecks.

There will be a Novelty Dog Show sponsored by Park House Pet Supplies, children's races and games, a bouncy castle, coconut shy, skittles and a tombola. Entry is free and the fayre continues until 5pm.

*TURN back time with the Sutton Poyntz Victorian Street Fayre this weekend.

This biennial event has been held since 1994 and raises money for local charities.

It is a day of family fun with craft stalls, live music, lots of children’s entertainment, cream teas, Pimms and strawberries, a farmers' market and a grand charity auction.

And keeping a Victorian tradition alive, villagers and stall holders will be dressed in period costume. Entry is £3.
