FIRE-FIGHTERS were called to reports of a Range Rover on fire outside the Spar shop in West Bay.
A spokesman for Dorset Fire and Rescue said: "We were called at about 11.05am. A crew from Bridport went down there but the fire was out when they arrived so they didn't actually need to do anything.
"Firefighters checked over the vehicle. It is believed the cause of the fire was a jump lead causing a spark, connected with a small fuel leak.
"There was a small amount of fire damage to the engine compartment."
