THIS is a fast-sinking speedboat in Lyme harbour this morning.

The boat was spotted sinking at its moorings by deputy harbourmaster Mike Higgs.

Mr Higgs and other members of the harbourmaster's team eventually hoisted the boat out of the water.

The owner of the 17foot boat Richard Clist said there was no obvious damage to the vessel. Harbourmaster Grahame Forshaw said it as a bit of a mystery.

The photo was taken by a member of the harbourmaster's team, Adam Parry.
