BRIDPORT Rugby Club’s junior section on Saturday begins a 618-mile quest on static bikes to raise money for their upcoming tour to France.
Bridport Arts Centre is the venue for their fundraiser, beginning at 9am.
Non-riders and parents will be collecting cash with sealed tubs and card machines and every contribution is welcome.
To ride the distance from Bridport to twin club Lège-Cap Ferret, the boys will cycle in one-hour slots without dismounting.
Bridport’s boys have already been busy washing cars, selling raffle tickets and intend to hold a quiz evening and bingo night.
Anyone attending Bridport’s recent first-team matches will have seen the incredible cake stall run by the mums.
The boys are also hoping for massive support for their cycle marathon, so, if you are visiting the town’s famous market this Saturday, pop by the lads and help them carry the Bridport flag to France.
