Matthew Smith has been on fire in recent weeks, winning two of his last three events.
First of all, the Woodroffe School pupil, pictured, sealed a victory at the Weymouth 12-and-under grade five tournament.
He then matched that feat by winning the Martock grade five multi-festival.
And the youngster went very close to making it a hat-trick of competition wins before having to settle for the runner-up spot in the grade four section of the Weymouth Junior Open.
The 11-year-old, from Whitchurch Canonicorum, who has been playing since the age of eight, is a member of both Dorchester and Weymouth Tennis Clubs.
He has been coached by the experienced Kevin Willemse at Dorchester Tennis & Squash Club since February.
