A GROUP of Bridport Barracudas have attended an Open Meet at Millfield School.
The youngsters spent the weekend competing against other swimmers from the region and came away with an impressive haul of over 36 medals.
This was the club’s swimmers first chance this season to attain times for the County Championships, which are held in February 2016.
The swimmers competing were Jessamy Fursman, Kirron Wheeler, Cole Dickinson, Erin Parker, Jess St Barbe-Baker, Will St Barbe-Baker, Alex Moorey, Nathan Moorey, Georgina Mackey, Caitlin Sloman, Charlotte Hussey, Holly Dickinson, Harry Stewart, Chloe Burns, Jack Bradley, Henry Wyrill and Craig Horton.
Head coach Dan Dew said that it was a really great start to the season with some swimmers already achieving qualifying times for regionals.
