BRIDPORT have been forced to postpone a second home match this week after a waterlogged pitch prevented their clash with Ivybridge Town from taking place.
Chris Herbst’s Bees were hoping to avenge a 2-0 loss earlier in the season to the Ivies, who lead the South West Peninsula League Premier East standings by 20 points.
However, heavy rain on Thursday and for much of midweek has saturated the St Mary’s Field surface.
The fixture joins Bridport’s home Dorset Senior Cup semi-final with Hamworthy Rec on the casualty list this week.

Bridport will hope the situation improves for the rearranged cup tie on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
In the league, the Bees are next in action on Saturday, February 24 at home to Stoke Gabriel & Torbay Police, one of only four teams to beat Bridport in the Premier East this season.
